I'm back!

Wow, its been a minute right? Well, maybe more like 2 years? Oops. Anyways I'm back, in here & boy do I have a lot to update y'all on! New state, new baby, new man & new job. Wow! Ill try to just sum it all up for yall. First, new man? Yes, after the insane 2015 break up with Sophias dad (including injunctions, him moving away, me finally getting my shit together) I have a new man, a fiance in fact. We be been together a little over a year and I'm in love y'all. Nothing can break us at this point. Which brings me to my next subject, new baby!! Sophia is now a big sister to her little sister Jade. Born 3/20/17 8lbs 1oz ❤ She's beautiful y'all, flawless. New move? Hell yes, moved from FL to a new start in the mountains of NC & I'm loving it! Landed a new job in retail a few weeks after moving! Score. I tried to sum it all up, make it short and sweet for y'all. Ill be posting every week at least once from now on hopefully!

Toddler tornado

Have you ever felt like you're just doing something for no reason? That's me today. I had just finished cleaning the bedroom and went to go wash the dishes and came back to find out Sophia yanked everything out of the dresser and onto the floor. Now I kept my calm and told her to pick it up and she of course picked up a few things and then ran off so I had to pick it all back up. Then I find out she ran off to draw with chalk all over the kitchen wall. Having a toddler is like having a mini tornado in your house constantly. Being a mother takes a whole lot of patience.

Dear Tech Savvy Moms

Hey there, I just wanted to take a second to let you guys know of an amazing app I discovered for Sophia. It is called Endless Reader by Originator.

It has helped Sophia who is only two understand how to put letters together to spell words. It has even helped her learn where words properly go in a sentence, she's obsessed. It starts you off with a free set of letters a-f and you can pay to add different levels of words. I just paid for he 20 letter level 1 words. It cost 5.99, but hey you cant put a price on your child's learning an education right?

Life Update

Hey there everyone, its been quite a while huh? I suppose you're wondering why I haven't been posting but to be completely honest I don't have a good reason besides I've just been caught up in other things. I'm back now and I hope to keep up with this now.

Sophia is two you guys! We both celebrated our birthday on July 16th. I turned 20 and my little love became 2! its crazy how fast they grow. She has definitely hit the terrible twos and I mean she really hit them hard. I don't want to make it seem like shes awful but she sure does have her moments. to anyone with a toddler I'm sure you understand where I'm coming from.
She goes from just hugging mommy and daddy to rubbing diaper rash cream all over the carpet and walls, so much fun right! ha ha.

As for me, I've been working and its been draining me so much lately. I usually am a closer which means I'm at the store until 10:30 - 11, As you can imagine that can get tiring. I also finally got my permit a few months back and that's a proud moment for me. It took me long enough right? Ha ha, next step is my license,

Pampers Cruisers

Hey guys!
I received a voxbox complementary of influenster! I received these free for testing purposes. Can I just say I'm absolutely in love with these! They are wonderfully made and don't sag and look nasty plus they have the cutest designs. Make sure to go check these out. They're godsent. We now are a pampers family!

The joys of a 1 year old

Patience is a must have when having a child.
I finally decided to get up and clean the room and I was doing pretty great until I smelt nail polish. Mhm you guessed it.
I turned around and Soph was standing over a puddle of blue nail polish on the carpet and blue all over her entire body.
Mind you were renting the place were in. I freaked out and yelled at josh to get the fuck up and help and what does he do? Rubs the nail polish even more into the carpet because he obviously never got the memo of blotting stains.
Meanwhile im in the bathroom with soap and water and nail polish remover scrubbing the polish off of Sophia which only partly faded geat story to tell the dr the next day when they check her weight and she looks like a smurf.
Well its been a couple weeks and theres still a huge blue stain on the carpet. Luckily Sophia is nail polish free but ive tried everything under the sun and yet the stain has only lightened. Round 3 of window cleaner here I come.
